Start your design journey by contacting Peakview Outdoor Living online or over the phone. We'll evaluate your property and reach out within three business days to schedule an on-site visit.

Fit is important to us. Due to overwhelming demand, Peakview Outdoor Living cannot accommodate every request we receive. We carefully assess every inquiry and advise if our company can take on your project or if we may have to decline due to scope, budget or location.

If we are a good fit, a meeting is scheduled to visit your property and discuss your goals and budget. Your appointment will be with Kenny or Frank, our design and property experts. They'll assess your property's topography and unique property needs. During the meeting, you'll also start to explore possibilities based on your home's style and color palette, the layout of your property, and unique architectural or structural features, as well as existing elements of your home's landscape.

Once they have the lay of the land, you'll discuss the scope of the project, your must-have and wish-list landscaping elements, and your budget. If you have any design inspirations, such as photos, share them with Frank or Kenny to work them into the initial design formulations! At the end of the meeting, you'll also discuss the design fee, which will be calculated on-site and is approximately 3-5% of the entire project.

Once you sign a design contract, our team will get to work crafting a custom design plan for your property. This stage includes these steps:

• Site surveying and plot planning: Our team will get detailed measurements for your soil grading, house elevation, and other details to develop an accurate, scaled plot plan. 
• Researching the property: Behind the scenes, our team will manage all of the lot coverage, offset, zoning, and local bylaw requirements so all of the paperwork and approvals are handled. This ensures your property complies with any applicable restrictions and requirements.
• Incorporating your personal wish list: We take pride in putting your preferences center stage. In your dedicated project Google Drive, you can communicate wish list features and design ideas that you want to see in your final landscape design. Our team will walk you through the costs and considerations for each one so your favorite ideas fit within your budget.
• Initial 2D concept presentation: Next, our design team will present a 3D concept plan for your consideration. You can leave feedback, ask questions, propose changes, and more. We'll also provide an itemized estimate so you can move forward with confidence.
• Final 3D rendering: Taking your feedback into consideration, our landscape design experts will revise the plan and create an immersive 3D model for you to explore and approve. 
• Final Estimate: Now that the details and design aspects are rendered, our team will present you with the final construction price estimate, the scope of work, and the final design. Pricing is determined using our standardized pricing calculator, and we accept all payments through checks, credit cards (with a 3% charge), or ACH. You'll receive an invitation to join our LMN software through an email titled "Your Proposal From Peakview Outdoor Living Is Ready" — just follow the steps to your personal dashboard. 

This stage will take between three days and two weeks, depending on the scope and complexity of the project. We can also work with third-party designs on a case-by-case basis.

If you love your new landscape design, we can proceed with getting ready for the installation and construction processes. First, we'll create your landscape project contract. After signature and a 10% deposit payment, your project will be added to our Master Schedule so we can give you a more detailed timeline of the project.

Earlier, our team started the due diligence process by ensuring every element of your landscape design would be permitted by local governments and organizations. At this stage, our team will pull permits, create necessary permit drawings, and make sure every aspect of installation and construction is done by the book. This ensures your property is safe and compliant with local requirements.

Meet your project manager to kick off the construction phase of the project. The meeting will be scheduled one or two weeks before construction begins. At this stage, you'll meet with your designer, estimator, and PM to make sure the scope of work and details of the project are clear. If you have any questions or would like any changes, the designer and estimator can work them into the project plan.

At this stage, you can watch your beautiful new landscape come to life. We handle every step of the process and ensure minimal disruption for your property and family. Your project foreman will provide weekly in-person updates and be available to answer your questions. 

While we work hard to maintain a consistent schedule and timeline, some factors can delay your project completion. These include material unavailability, manufacturing and fabrication delays, delivery delays, and weather and changing site conditions. Changes to the scope of your project can also affect the schedule.
